Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a cruiser bike launched by the Iconic Indian brand, Royal Enfield. KTM recently launched much awaited adventure bike in the Indian market, the KTM 250 Adventure. It is a proper adventure tourer made for the Indian riders who are looking for a budget friendly adventure bike with latest tech on offer.
It is a full-fledged adventure bike with tall stance, flat and long rider seat, raised handlebars, tall windscreen for wind protection. A 6-speed gearbox deals with the power transfer duties and has well-laid out gear ratios for highway and off-road rides. The new bike gets a low-rpm assist technology which avoids engine stalling in city traffic.
The Strom 650 is capable of returning a fuel economy of about 20 km per litre and with a 20-litre fuel tank; you can easily get a range of nearly 400 km in a single tankful.
There is a semi-digital instrument panel which offers all the relevant information to the rider. For added convenience, the bike comes with a mobile charging socket and a 12 volts power outlet for assessor socket.
For bringing the bike to a halt, there are twin 310 mm disc brakes at the front with 260 mm disc brake at the rear. A dual channel ABS is present to keep the rider safe under hard braking.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is the nest bike on this list. It is based on the Trident 660 which is a naked roadster with changes to make it more touring friendly. The bike carries a price tag of Rs 9.08 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi and is around Rs 2 lakh more expensive than the Trident. For the additional price you really get the worth as it has all the things that you need for long distance riding.
The Tiger Sport 660 is available in three colour options – Lucerne Blue & Sapphire Black, Korosi Red & Graphite and Graphite & Sapphire Black.
Coming to the design, the Tiger Sport 660 comes with Triumph’s signature design language used in the more premium Tiger series of bikes. There is a large front fairing with adjustable visor to rider protected from the high-speed wind blasts. The headlights are full LED units including the turn indicators and the tail-light. Seats are large and comfortable for both rider and the pillion that allows for longer duration on the saddle.
The engine on the Tiger Sport 660 is a 660cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, in-line triple-cylinder unit with 12-valve head. This high-revving unit churns out 80 bhp of max power at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of twisting force at 6250 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via slip and assist clutch.
With all this power in hand, anyone can easily cruise at over 120 kmph all day long without bothering about anything. Performance-wise, the bike shoots from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 5 seconds and goes up to a top speed of around 180 kmph.
A large 17.2-litre petrol tank offers long riding range of around 380 km which is really good for touring machine. Average mileage that you can expect from the Tiger Sport 660 is around 22 kmpl.
Speaking about the instrumentation, the fully-digital unit is lifted from the Trident but with a different casing to make it look in-line with the fairing design. The meter console offers almost all the data that is required by the rider with multiple settings of traction control.
The suspension system of the bike has USD Forks at the front and Monoshock at the rear with pre-load settings. Overall suspension is higher than seen on the Trident which also increases the ground clearance for better rideability on unpaved roads. Speaking about the brakes, the bike is fitted with 310 mm twin-rotors at the front and single 255 mm rotor gripped by 4-piston and 1-piston callipers. A dual-channel ABS and traction control is offered for safer rides.
